This is a cactus called Jeffery. He lives on his own a lot of the time, but luckily he has me to keep him company. He lives in my room, on my windowsill, so that he can have a nice view (and also for sunlight and Vitamin D, even if cacti need Vitamin D). He likes to look out of the window; he has to all of the time. Honestly, I tell you. He is addicted to the thing! He has been around the household for quite some time now, six years to be precise. I often think that it must be weird to be a cactus; they either never sleep or permanently sleep! Anyway, thank you for reading about my lone cactus, who, one day, will have a friend.
